Alec Siegel

Principal/Managing Director

Alec Siegel is responsible for leading and directing Siegel Link, LLC.   He is the company’s founding member. Alec grew up in this area and graduated Virginia Tech in 1983 with degrees in Marketing and Management. He started his successful career in recruiting in 1987 while based in Northern Virginia and specialized in the technology sector.  Alec has been recognized as a top individual biller throughout his career and after stints with MBA Management (later S.R. Clarke) and Halbrecht & Company he moved to Blacksburg in 2002 and opened the current operation which officially became Siegel Link in the Spring of 2010.

 

Bill Montgomery

Bill Montgomery was born and lived in Central New Jersey until he and his family moved to a small farming community in Kentucky. Bill graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2004, at which time he returned to Kentucky where he worked in the public education system and began work on his Master of Business Administration. In December of 2007, Bill completed his MBA while working for the Blue Grass Council, Boy Scouts of America. Bill was responsible for recruitment and fundraising in the council’s largest district, which consisted of over 2,500 youth and adults. It was during Bill’s time serving these youth and adults he discovered his passion and strength for recruiting and networking. In late summer of 2010, Bill began working with Siegel Link as Senior Associate, in Virginia Tech’s Corporate Research Center.

 

Mike Vaillancourt

Mike Vaillancourt comes to Siegel Link with five years of recruiting experience. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Mike has a strong background in placing technology candidates in the government contracting, legal and private sectors. He is well versed in recruiting for security clearance-related openings. For Siegel Link, Mike will work with candidates for career opportunities in the New River Valley area and will focus efforts in the Northern Virginia area as well. Mike will be based out of Woodbridge, but will have a consistent presence in the Blacksburg office.
